About these terms
This website and the Horcare service are operated by Horcare Medical Care (Hefei) Co., Ltd.. By using the website or asking Horcare to coordinate care, you agree to these terms. If you are acting for a patient, you confirm that you have their permission, or the legal authority, to do so.
What the service is
Horcare is a non-clinical coordination service. It helps international patients and their families with case review, hospital and department matching, appointments and admission arrangements, visa document guidance, medical record translation, interpretation, travel logistics and follow-up coordination. Horcare is not a hospital or medical provider.
The free case review
The initial case review is free and creates no obligation. It gives a practical view of which specialty, city and hospitals may suit the case and what the hospital is likely to need. It is not a medical opinion; any medical opinion comes from the hospital or specialist. Horcare may decline a case, for example where the requested treatment is not one it coordinates.
Fees and payment
- Hospitals quote and collect their own medical fees. You pay the hospital directly, and Horcare adds no markup to hospital charges.
- Horcare's service fee is quoted in writing before any paid work begins. Paid work starts only after you accept that written quote.
- Hospital charges and Horcare's fee are always kept separate. Travel, accommodation and other third-party costs are paid to those providers unless agreed otherwise in writing.
No clinical responsibility
All clinical decisions, including diagnosis, treatment, eligibility and discharge, are made by the treating hospital and its doctors, who are responsible for the medical care they provide. Horcare does not guarantee any medical outcome, waiting time decided by a hospital, or the acceptance of a patient by a hospital.
Your responsibilities
Please give accurate and complete information, tell your coordinator about changes in the patient's condition, follow hospital instructions, and make your own decisions about whether to travel. You are responsible for your own visa application; visa rules change, so confirm with the Chinese embassy or visa center.
Hospitals and third parties
Hospitals, airlines, hotels and other providers are independent of Horcare and act under their own terms. Hospitals listed on this website are hospitals Horcare helps patients access; a hospital is a partner only where it is explicitly marked "Partner".
Use of this website
Content on this website is general information, provided as is, and may change. You may read and share it for personal, non-commercial purposes. Do not misuse the website, for example by submitting false inquiries or attempting to disrupt it.
Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, Horcare is not liable for the acts or omissions of hospitals, doctors or other independent providers, or for indirect or consequential losses. Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot be limited by law.
