Ophthalmology covers cataract, glaucoma, retinal disease, corneal conditions and eye conditions in children. China has several dedicated eye hospitals with subspecialty clinics for each part of the eye.
Zhongshan Ophthalmic Center in Guangzhou and the Eye & ENT Hospital of Fudan University in Shanghai are dedicated eye institutions, and Beijing Tongren Hospital has a large ophthalmology department.
